I appreciated the beautiful colonial architecture. It created a unique atmosphere. the hotel provided a complimentary shuttle to nearby attractions, a very useful perk. the breakfast offered many choices and i liked the fresh, local ingredients. the staff were consistently attentive and helpful.
I found a few mosquitoes near the lobby in the evenings. Perhaps mosquito repellent devices might help.

The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable. they made special hot thai tea for me just because i asked. the food was amazing!!! i really enjoyed the breakfast. It had plenty of options.
the pool closed very early at 7pm. i think that is ridiculous. i felt there were many insects around the hotel. the hallways are quite poorly maintained.

The breakfast buffet was surprisingly limited. The choices felt repetitive. our room's air conditioning was quite loud. It made sleeping difficult. i did not find this very relaxing. also. The staff seemed a bit preoccupied.
